Voices from the Frontline – Maintaining Quality Maternal Healthcare in the time of COVID-19
FIGO joins the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) for a Global Webinar that will focus on midwives and obstetricians working together during the COVID-19 pandemic to improve service provision. The speakers will include two frontline midwives – one located in a low resource setting and one located in a high resource setting - both from areas that have been particularly hard hit by the pandemic. The third speaker, a senior midwife who works in policy and strategy for a Midwives association, will provide overview of the challenges and opportunities that the pandemic has presented.
